These are my adorable kindergarden students at Shinjo Yochien. Unfortunantly I don't get to teach them as often as I would like, going to the Kindergarden makes my week.
These are a few of my students at Akizugawa Junior High. They are hundled around the heater trying to stay warm. The schools here in Wakayama dont have central heating, or insulation for that matter, and up in the mountains in Akizugawa it gets especially cold.
Some of the other junior high students at Akizugawa performing Peter Pan in "English." The English teacher at Akizugawa, Katou Sensei, was so proud she had me sit right up front so I could watch the play. I couldn't bare to tell her I had no idea what they were talking about through out most of the play.
Students at Toubu Elementary running the 2 kilometer "marathon." I got to school that day ready to teach class, but practically the whole school and many of the kids parents had come to watch them run. It was a pretty impressive turnout.
